So, Anita Bryant did something good for me. When I was very young, I asked mom why people were mad at her. Mom rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, she thinks there's something wrong with homosexuals." Meaning, Mom thought it was ridiculous. Very helpful years later knowing my parents weren't homophobes.
