4/4 FWIW, I just spent 2 days at D&D In a Castle's Dungeon Master University. Over 150 students and faculty were there and I did not meet one who didn't like (or even love) Stranger Things S5. Normal people just want to be entertained with quality content, and the show delivered.

3/x Want to know how the over-exposition & unnecessary elements got in there? Netflix wants exposition expressed multiple times because viewers are on their phones while watching TV. I'm also willing to bet that NF wanted extended length episodes and the Duffers had to acquiesce to them.

2/x 99% of "fan's" ideas are awful, lacking subtext and any kind of voice. Most have no idea how a project like Stranger Things is created and executed. Go look up any fan version of a popular IP on YouTube or BitTorrent and let me know how long you can stand it.

I also feel like there is something to be said for a scantily clad Leia strangling Jabba with his own chain as a metaphor as well.
