Composer and VGM enthusiast. I'm very inspired by Japanese artists. I like Jazz, Orchestral, Electronic, Hip-Hop, and game soundtracks in general. OPEN for commissions! https://linktr.ee/Magabes
I'm fond of this track, but I'm not proud of the final result of the game that came out of that jam. Still, I'm happy I did it. I think I should participate in more gamejams. It's a great learning experience and useful to get back on the groove of things when the well of inspiration's dried up.

I participated in a gamejam 5 years ago. It was a week of waking up and immediately getting to work on the game, and only stopping very late in the evening. It's crazy work, but I learned a lot of things about sound design production. I also made the songs for that project. youtu.be/67YtNjPoJx0?...

Satoshi Okubo is one of my favorite composers. I highly recommend people listen to the soundtracks of Hotel Dusk and Last Window. Or even play the games, they're like more interactive detective visual novels. What I wish Ace Attorney was like. youtu.be/gH-Q_vZT3cc?...

I totally have! Almost all clients I've worked with are very appreciative and understanding. After many hours of work on a track, it's hard not to feel that fear of disappointing the client in some way or another. But it's completely imagined anxiety. The exchange is almost always good.

When I got the scene mocking me for being the "sorry cop", I felt confused. It was as if I was supposed to feel bad for trying to have the protagonist be a better person and apologize for his mistakes. But I guess you're right, the game is purposefully always out to make the player feel bad.

I went into the game with the wrong expectations, I think. At first I thought it would be a mystery thriller buddy cop game with a complex political setting, but mainly focused on investigating a murder. Then the elements that hooked me in had faded and the focus of the story went elsewhere.

I definitely feel this way every single time. Taking a bit too long on the work, or after sending a song preview to the client, and this is what goes on in my head - deeply bowing and apologizing before I hear anything back (even if I had previewed the file 30 times to make sure it was perfect)

So mesmerizing...

I initially got it confused with Midnight Club 3. Looks great!

Wishlisted it on Steam. Very excited for it. It feels like the kind of game you'd only find if you were looking at a catalogue of obscure PS1 games, and I love that.

This reminds me of Shadow Tower, King's Field... First person dungeon-crawlers from the 90s. I'm very intrigued!
