If you weren’t interested in the post, you just swiped away. The less (or more) you watched taught the algorithm what you preferred &, therefore, on the “for you” page, you saw less or more of posts related to a certain topic. It was very intuitive & adapted quickly. The his included sales videos.

Also, due to the algorithm, it was much easier for small businesses to find their target audience as those folks had already fine tuned their “for you” page for creators to be seen by them. The entire experience was much faster/responsive than anything I’ve experienced on YT.

is easier & aligned with what persons were looking for, therefore more likely to generate more income.

No. Not at all. Until you’ve had the experience, you cannot understand. YT doesn’t allow for the same level of back & forth. Also, it’s much easier for a “regular” person to make supplemental income on TikTok than it’s ever been on YT.

A place where anyone could dial in the content they wanted. A place where you could build a community, like making your own chosen family. A place of fresh ideas & a variety of perspectives. A place where many were able to supplement their income to keep a roof over their heads & food on the table.
