I find four leaf clovers a lot. This is the first one of the year. Maybe it will bring us all some good luck!

I'm barely in zone 6b (6a is very close) and I have tomato blobs on my Stupice! It is supposed to be a very early heirloom variety. Started from seed 17 March, planted outside in a grow bag on 10 May, which is the earliest I have ever planted tomatoes.

This tomato plant seems wonky. Up-potted after it grew 2nd leaves, but it seems to be growing only suckers. Waffling about culling it, but it’s the only one of a new to me variety: Stupice.

Yesterday’s sock yarn haul from For the Love of Fiber in State College, PA. And of course I had to buy the screaming possum pin.

I think my shallot was a bit surprised that it was going in with the pot roast.

A while ago I found a new method for sock heel, but it did not work out. A knitter on a discord group suggested that I use 60% of the heel stitches for my short row sock method (fish lips kiss) rather than 50%, and I do think it fits much better! New sock is on the right foot.

Shaping leaves a lot to be desired, but I bet these bagels taste great! Used Martin's recipe from King Arthur.

I didn't burn the bottom and I got a wee bitty ear! Best loaf yet. It's going to become grilled cheese for tonight and I'm going to make some tomato soup.

I don’t have a Dutch oven, but I do have an ancient roaster pan. So I tried that and the cold oven method and it looks ok maybe? The dough stuck to the banneton despite the rice flour, so it’s a little flat.
