We taxpayers are paying for the Republican Party’s congressional representatives to take a five +? week vacation to avoid negotiating an end to the shutdown. At the very least they should have to pay us back that salary & be fined for being absent from their jobs.

Can we fire D. Trump for his one sided accusations against Democrats as the cause of all violence in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk? Why aren't people as outraged as they are at commentator Matthew Dowd's accurate though ill timed remarks about the hateful ideology of Charlie Kirk?

I am forever grateful for the educational experience I got via public colleges and universities. I learned to question and investigate what was presented as factual & it was transformational . This assault on every level of our educational system is the death knell of critical thinking.

I can't read or listen to the news anymore. It's like watching a horror movie. Everywhere destruction, cruelty, seemingly with little to no resistance except for protests by brave & caring people that least right now seem to be having little effect. I feel sick & helpless. How can we continue?

I think we need to schedule a National Day of Mourning to acknowledge the demise of democracy in America. Love to hear if there are any plans being made for this.
