We adopted Sonja 3 years ago when she was 14 years old. We knew we wouldn't have her for long, but it still feels like too soon.

This articulated a lot of complex feelings I have about being a furry. I've been a furry for about 10 years now, and have always struggled to engage with the community.
Part of that is lingering anxiety from bullying, but I think part of that is how commodified the modes of social interaction feel.

I got my own drum kit a couple weeks ago (hooray not having to drive to my sister's house to play anymore lol) so have my first ever drum cover of Devereaux by Car Seat Headrest :D
