This one tiny section had me bawling my eyes out last night, but right now it's barely hitting at all. Gah.

Y’all ever sob when you write an emotional chapter?
No?

Moss was one of the first organisms that made the evolutionary leap from water to land. Moss is home to Tardigrades. And moss spores recently survived outside the ISS (in space) for 9 months.
Are we sure moss isn't an alien? 👽

I was raised in the foothills of Mt. Rainer but I now live in Iowa. Today we’re getting a foot of snow. Seemed normal to me, turns out, it is not. At least the dog is having a good time. 🤷‍♀️ #iowa #snowstorm

Is there anything more difficult than reading a review where the reader picked out the one thing you felt least confident about in your story? I got my first review like that, and I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw the issue, but now I wish I had rewritten it. 💙📚

Ex-military combat medic, abducted from Earth, forced to work as a nurse in an alien coliseum.
Alien Prince, with a heart too big for his role, has to fight in the Coliseum to claim his throne and gets gravely wounded.
They both need each other to make it out alive.

The romance genre (and all of its sub-genres) is not trashy, shameful, or embarrassing; it's an expression of one of the best parts of the human experience, and it should be valued as such. Don't let the world tell you any different.

Finally finished Tharn's Hunt by A.G. Wilde. It was a good balance of cute and spicy, and to my surprise, the end included some interesting world-building that isn't very common in this style of alien romance. I'm excited to read the next one.

Got a few more pages left in Tharn's Hunt by A.G. Wilde, and I must admit, Wilde is doing a good job creating excitement for the next books in the series. As much as I hate to admit it, alien romance series where each book focuses on a new couple are effective. #alienromance #booksky

Ordered a bunch of author copies from Amazon. They arrived in multiple oversized boxes, loose and poorly packed. It appears there will be a 'scratch and dent' sale in my near future.

I moved from Seattle to Iowa a few years back, and now live amongst the book-banners. The worst part is, most of them aren't far right; they just live in a feedback loop and don't get the chance to see other perspectives. Conversations matter. Books matter. Talk to your neighbors.
Number of Books Banned By Schools In Each US State

Florida (4,500) and Iowa (3,600) recorded the highest number of book bans.

Do you think schools should ban books to protect children?

Almost finished reading Tharn's Hunt by A.G. Wilde, and I'm somewhere between "loving it" and "meh". It scratches the alien romance itch, and the way the aliens communicate is clever and fun, but I think the first book was stronger.
