Just finished Promises of Gold by José Olivarez, and wow—what a collection. His poetry hit hard, exploring love, grief, and generational trauma, while calling out systems like capitalism. It’s raw, real, and deeply relatable. Highly recommend the audiobook, especially with José reading it himself.
