I'm in a blue state and our mayor and governor have spoken out against some things. Not sure about senators. Can they really stop this though? Clearly legalities aren't enough.

But now what? What can we do to actually stop this? I mean the media reported on Trump's criminal convictions and he was still elected as president... How do we know it's not too late?
