There’s a lot of talk about rural hospitals and we do have to sound the alarm, but big urban hospitals are also very fucked and the downstream effect is that private insurance holders are about to go through unimaginable pain
Two major medical providers in San Diego, UC San Diego Health and Sharp Healthcare, have already announced layoffs in anticipation of the cuts that haven’t even passed yet. It’s going to get bad.
