Another day, another abbey!

Not shown, the tremendous amounts of people around & in said abbey because there was a festival going on. They had John Denver’s Country Roads blasting from the nave.

I hadn’t checked out the gardens across from my new place yet so I took a stroll this morning and within 500 ft from my house is this pretty Japanese garden.

So, cosplay & kitsuke shoots are absolutely happening here now.

Busy, busy weekend but the scenery was immaculate as always.

Morning 5k on medieval fortress walls

I love how these walls have been established in 71 AD, passed through hands of Romans, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings…

They worked so hard in building them, so a modern idiot like me could go, “Hey this is the perfect 5k track 👁️👄👁️ I’m gonna run it.”

Quiet Sunday, today.
