It’s good, if a bit too close to home these days. It’s hard to recommend Philip K Dick books. I can never guess which ones people are going to love or hate.

I was expecting to hear a reference to The Grasshopper Lies heavy from Man in the High Castle. It’s an alternate history book within the alternate history book Man in the High Castle that tells our current actual history.

As a long, long time Mana Pool listener and Michigan State grad, I did not have @cluze.bsky.social mentioning Douglas J on my bingo card. That was definitely a trip! When I was a student, I used to get my hair cut at the barber shop in the Union called T-Styles.

Daybreak is so fun and satisfying. I need to get it to the table more.

I played this back in Theros/Khans standard with Bloodsoaked Champion and Tormented Hero. It was a ton of fun, but lifegain from Siege Rhino and Seeker of the Way could really kill my aggro plan.

I have been playing Balatro obsessively for the last month. It is so quick and easy to get into, but there’s a ton of depth. As much as I love games like Slay the Spire and Monster Train, Balatro is now my go to Rouge-lite card game.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is so, so good.

Sorry, I was agreeing with you and adding some additional context.

There’s a ton more parity in the MLB, with more than 50 NBA teams having a worse win% (0.253) than this year’s White Sox. Also, there are at least 30 NBA teams (including 3 of the Bulls champs) that have a winning percentage better than the MLB record (1906 Cubs at 0.763).

My kids *cough* and me *cough* are getting Life in Reterra for Christmas and I can’t wait to get it unwrapped! They are also getting Wrath of Fire Mountain, so it’s gonna be an Eric Lang Christmas!

Your brother is on Louisville now?!?! He keeps moving up the NCAA basketball ranks! Good luck to him!

I’m gonna guess it was pie related.

I just read the first book and I can’t wait to keep going!

I’ve only had a chance to play Daybreak once, but I was smiling the whole time. Choosing what cards to discard, tuck, or overlay is such a fun puzzle.

Winners also have the responsibility to be respectful in victory. Flag planting is inherently disrespectful and will illicit an emotional response. You absolutely can celebrate a victory, and you should, but a level of respect must be maintained.

Being a good winner is as important as being a good loser. I am very biased, but UM has a real problem with being bad winners.

I really enjoyed my plays of The Hunger, but ultimately sold it in favor of Clank Catacombs. I could easily see someone that was more into vampires making a different decision, as it is a sold deckbuilder. I have also been closely eyeing Explorers of Navoria for a potential upcoming purchase.

Most basements don’t deserve your fear, but that looks like terror town.
