Neither OpenAI (literally) nor Microsoft can now afford for the music to stop playing. They need to keep it going just for the sake of keeping it going to make ends meet.

For that they need continued hype. And more hype. And more hype.

And that, my friends, is a BUBBLE ready to pop anytime.

The reason for the problem is clear: OpenAI has no money to come good on their commitments. Or put differently: They are totally relying on somebody else to fork up the money for OpenAI to spend on this.

This is all well when the music is playing. But when the music stops?
