Been actually obsessed with this book recently. Very interesting to read, especially as a social worker and someone who is disabled. Reading from a doctors perspective on the medical world and how they treat patients has been eye opening. Hard to put down

The reservation I grew up on is within the current and previous. So sad to see how far they’ve gone away, I remember school bus stops being canceled for cub sightings lol

Spending time volunteering at schools has just become exponentially more and more terrifying.
I shouldn’t have to be scared about literally dying to volunteer to bring therapy pets to a school.
