Writing is great because if someone tells you they hate your work, you know they hate it, if they don’t say anything, you assume they hate it, and if they tell you they liked it, you also assume they hate it.

I especially don't understand how anyone is supposed to have "gotten over" something that people are still insisting didn't even happen or was justified. Even if this was something that could be "gotten over" you definitely can't do that if you constantly have to defend your right to grieve.
