While I don't know that band specifically, I think metalcore is just a generally corny genre, I say that as a big fan of the genre, but I think the cornyness is just a part of what makes the genre fun.

Unless of course that band is especially corny.

Mind you, pronouns aren't a leftist thing in any real sense, it's purely basic language, but stupid is as stupid does.

I've always wondered this myself, at this point I'm genuinely convinced people who cry about respecting pronouns purely cry about it because they want to be contrarian to leftist views.
