I've learned from a LOT of different artists who have given me advice that have had conflicting information, but both were tremendously talented at what they do. Just goes to show that no matter what the medium, calibre, folks are different. And you can learn from any/everybody :)

Something I had read from yours a while ago regarding backgrounds / composition (i may be horribly misremembering) but you boiled it down to "identify your horizon lines" and it helped me immensely clear my head about some of my own shortcomings in my process on certain pieces.
