I am so excited that SIECCAN (Sex Information and Education Council of Canada) has created information sheets all about sexual health for youth with physical disabilities. Here is just one of the important points you’ll find: “If a person you are on a date with wants to touch you or your mobility aid, they need to ask for consent first.” As a severely disabled person, I am so thrilled that finally we have comprehensive, inclusive info geared towards youth with physical disabilities. You can find out more, and download the info sheets for yourself by going to SIECCAN.org right now. Spread the word, so that youth with disabilities in your life will have information that centers their experiences.
