I like metal for drowning out uninvited thoughts/programming, but anything that distracts is fine, in my book. Setting a timer for a relaxation period may be a good compromise with disruptive internal parental voices? Stating intentions can be good, too.

Have had SOAD's They're Trying to Build a Prison playing in my head, these past several days. God, I wish they'd come back, but Daron is dicks. We need new rage -inducing bands for Gen Z.

I meant to say 4yrs, not 2, huehue. That changes things a bit. Feel like I aged fairly rapidly, these past 4yrs, tho there wasn't a global pandemic that I can recall, back in 87. Still, life can come at ye fast n hard.

It's weird seeing Dreifus looking so relatively young on the poster here, when he looked so much older in What About Bob?, which came along 2yrs later. Wonder if they aged him up or down for either role.
