There are rupees, napstablooks, cat paws, cookie cat, a soot sprite, a fried egg, an animal crossing fossil, 2 calcifers, a cat-thulhu, a pink bunny, a black bunny and a jackalope. In one section marked "glow in the dark patches" there is a tiny mothman on a lightbulb, a cow in the beam of a UFO and 3 different gelatinous cubes (one classic, one with a face and one with a face that is eating a boot). Another section has 3 long furby patches in different colour combinations with a sign that reads "tons of colours! Ask to see what's in stock". To the left of that is 4 patches, each of a goose holding a butter knife. There are two slogans; no gods, no masters and peace was never an option. Each slogan has a white goose version and a canadian goose version. To the left of those are two animal crossing inspired patches. One is a sea bass on a wood grain fabric that says "thanks, I hate it!" and below that is a froggy chair in a larger circle patch with "what if we kissed.. on the froggy chair" along the edges A shot of my display. There are several soot sprite plushies with different coloured candies embroidered on the and several calcifer plushies with flame-like tie dye fabric and different expressions. Thinking about this friend, the cat and puppy versions and some vodka mutinis for my first shop restock? 🤔 Possibly some stuff from dashcon as well, either left overs or made to order for the stuff that sold out?
A display of embroidered patches inspired by tumblr, the original dashcon and some memes from the dashcon2 event discord. Top is 3 heart shaped patches with an embroidered ballpit. Each is a different colour and slightly different text. The red heart in the middle says "what if we kissed... in the dashcon ballpit?" With a small doodle heart at the bottom. The yellow heart to the left has scratched out the K and now reads "what if we pissed... in the dashcon ballpit?" And the small doodle heart has been flipped and rounded to look like a droplet. The green heart to right has several areas scratched out to now read "DO NOT piss in the dashcon ballpit!" And a red circle with a line through it has been added on top of the droplet doodle. In the section below, there is a patch in the shape of a carnival ticket with several embroidered balls and the text "+1 hour", referencing the "extra hour in the ballpit" legend/meme. Below that is a tombstone with overgrown grass at the bottom. The text reads "RIP Go nuts, Show nuts. 2007-2018", referencing the great tumblr nsfw purge of 2018. Before that point "go nuts, show nuts" was a literal line from their nsfw policy. In the bottom right is a collection of several simple patches designed to mimic the balls from a ballpit, arranged together in a pile. (Note that each ball is a separate patch) A photo of three plushies, handmade by MadHatterPlushies. The top two are variations on the autism creature. The first is a puppy with its tongue sticking out and the second is a cat (also called nyatism creature) with a little cat mouth. Both have the same big open eyes as the original autism creature. Below them is a plush based on Marcille's bird familiars from Dungeon Meshi. It os a very simplified bird shaped creature, almost like something a kid might sculpt out of clay.
