I have a pair of those. They're the ones I use most of the time at home, and in the field, I use these smaller ones.

This is my first slide rule, and reading lots, and watching videos to get the real hand of it.
It's an amazingly ingenious and complex machine for something with just a bunch of lines scratched on it.

Does the US or musk dictates the amateur spectrum globally?

Don’t buy transceivers if you don’t know how to use them and will have the time to learn how to use it and practice. Also get licensed.
