These guys literally showed up at our door on Halloween, a week after we lost our old boy. I’ve seen them darting around the neighborhood all summer. No microchip, not spayed, covered in fleas, plus loaded with tapeworms, yum. Got them to the vet and, yep, they’re ours now. Lumi and Figrin.

Our old boy Ratchet has cancer. He’s been spoiled rotten for 16 years and will continue to have affection and offerings thrust upon him (we’re building a catio)

Getting least crayfish was one of my better ideas. This particular little lady always runs up to the front of the tank when I walk up and gives me The Claws 🦞 and then will politely take food from my pipette.

Look, I’m just really happy I finally got to use this 12 gallon that I have had empty for YEARS. Did a dry start and then a fishless cycle and now I have a trio of sparkling gourami and some of my shrimp to stare at for hours. Now to stare at my medaka fry in my other tank for another few hours…

Medication and therapy has helped tremendously with putting a stop to beating myself up over my art not being good enough. I can just be okay with this staying a hobby and post what I like to draw again. So here’s some wip stuff I’ve been barfing out the past week.
