I didn’t realize how difficult it would be to obtain a UK licence after being able to drive on my US licence for a year. I’m lucky to be here on a graduate visa for now because gaining work visa sponsorship is proving impossible, regardless of education/experience.
I’m not in the care sector though.

Yes, I believe I would.
I’m just starting to sprout roots here.
And, if anything, this experience has given me space to process and heal from things.
Sure, I miss home sometimes. I think that’s normal, but I’m excited to see where I’m going next.

it definitely did not feel the way I thought it would.
I still haven’t made any friends here. My savings are depleting. Getting a driving license is taking me forever. I’m not maintaining relationships with friends/family in the US.
It’s been extremely isolating.
