Just started the Interview with the Vampire series and actually quite enjoying it. I like the fact that they moved Louis' human times further forward

Every scene of Frankenstein massaged my eyes with fashion and gothic melodrama, and of course Folk Horror Finchy (Ralph Ineson) and the man with the Victorian face (Burn Gorman) turned up

I didn't enjoy We Spread as much as I'm Thinking of Ending Things, but this story about a woman recently arrived in an old people's home, who feels something is off, was still very eerie. I definitely want to read more of Iain Reid's stuff, it captured the confusion and horror of aging very well

Controversial opinion? That film's songs were just slightly worse than Robin Hood, which were also bad

Other Women, by Emma Flint, is a well written crime fiction set in the 1920s, told from the perspectives of the wife and mistress of a potentially murdering man. The characters were believable and highlights the way the actions of men were blamed on women. Quite stressful but good

I have to respectfully disagree with Matthew Revert, let kids be in whelks

Oh my god I loved Dallergut Dream Department Store, by Miye Lee, so much, about a department store dedicated to dreams paid for with emotions, the people who work there, the animals who also work there ensuring dreamers are safely in fluffy socks and dressing gowns. A literary cuddle, as Bill said
