Gonzalez can't even hide behind ignorance. I have literally spoken with him at the capitol about trans issues.
He's been disappointing for some time now, but his goose is cooked- he can't expect any support from the queer activists who worked double-time to save him from losing to Mayra Flores.

This meme is right and voting isn't enough. To the trans folk willing to go the extra mile, I recommend taking positions of leadership in the party, using our positions and forging connections inside to move us forward.
It also lets us push back and yell bloody murder at the backstabber Democrats.

Can't help but wonder if a well-funded mutual aid org could be formed to provide mobile HRT clinics to trans folks in states where providers are being harassed by lawmakers criminalizing trans healthcare.
