The latter. The argument that 2A was bout defense against tyranny was *always* balls. One person shooting at an ICE agent wd get killed. A group shooting wd get crushed by the Natl Guard or the military. In almost every civilian context, waving guns around doesn't protect us, it puts us in danger.

You can't outsource "rote learning" to focus on thinking. You can't think if you don't know stuff, and don't practice setting your ideas in order to explain them. And no, AI does NOT excel at research and organization. It excels at symbol prediction. It doesn't "say" anything. There's no one there.
