i cant imagine spending so much time in a fandom for a character but never actually appreciating The Character and only ever this twisted ooc version of them. like, write/draw what you want, but truly, why are you here if it doesnt even seem like you liked the canon character in the first place?

half of me wants to say just own up to it and tag your shit as ooc even if that means 95% of fandom doing that bc people are so fucking obsessed w tropes and "totally not a self insert" versions of the smaller character in a ship. but the other half of me is like. truly, genuinely, why are you here?

people who do that shit, sanding characters down and shoving them into boxes and tropes they dont fucking fit into in order to create some shitty self insert x character-with-huge-cock and having it become the fandom norm of their portrayals, you are actively making fandom worse.

stop deluding yourself and like, learn to tag your shit as ooc or self insert
