Perhaps if they don't want to be assaulted they should consider wearing uniforms and showing identification instead of dressing like outlaws and kidnapping people? If a random group of masked men grabbed me I'd probably assault them too.

You should not be referring to *any* removal without due process as a deportation. Deportation is a legal process. The men sent to El Salvador were not deported either.

omg thank you, I'm so sick of this argument. I would obviously vote for Biden's head in a jar over Trump but I certainly don't feel like I had a meaningful choice in my nominee in 2024.

Is it plausible that SCOTUS felt like they had to grant because Trump is likely to make the same argument in Florida? Just speculating, I haven't seen much talk about this.

Here's what baffles me, isn't Trump basically on the record saying he's going to ignore the Court in his second term? Why do they want to neuter themselves?

Doesn't it actually mean that the trial definitely won't happen? I thought Judge Chutkin said she'd give them the full seven(?) months after the stay was lifted, which would kick it out to November at the very earliest.

Once a doctor's receptionist told me that not only did they not take my (shitty) insurance, now that they knew what my insurance was, they weren't allowed to let me self-pay either. They just couldn't see me, period, full stop.

It appears she thought the money was going to be returned to her. Which is also extremely gullible and naive but at least she didn't think she was donating to some charity for needy intelligence agencies.
