Regarding the hereditary monarchy, that’s explicitly represented by the color black. To your point, blue can be argued to represent restoring the old monarchy, but even more it represents forging your new path and DARING yourself to go against the grain.

The whole game is overtly anti-fascist. And the Baron is presented as a morally complex character who was not liked by everyone (the main character’s father and the groundskeeper come to mind).
