When watching any 60’s or 70’s “b” horror movie now I just laugh, because usually within the first minute there is more thought, care and creativity poured into it than most anything playing in theaters.

Love the cozy spooky atmosphere so much. And it’s short so it flies by.

I like to watch Dracula and The Wolf Man every October so I’m glad I’ll finally be able to see all of them.

Just ordered the complete Universal monsters collection. Can’t wait to deep dive and see this and Dracula’s Daughter.

I’ve definitely heard the other version is far inferior, but I’ll probably watch it right after I see the original version, just a nerd like that so no need to apologize.

Still trying to spot the differences with Black Sunday but feel it’s a little more subtle? Maybe I’m wrong.

I still haven’t seen Lisa and the Devil, but recently watched Kill Baby Kill and that was just outstanding. Great stuff.

I could see AIP thinking Americans were going to be bored with The Telephone first so they put the scariest and shortest story first to start with a bang. But it only winds up peaking too early. Still love the fun spooky vibe of the AIP but the re-editing in The Telephone is baffling.

Not to mention the order of the stories is superior in the Italian cut.

My dad saw this in theaters when it came out and it scarred him for life. Had to track it down. My favorite Bava. I like the opening credits and silly spooky Karloff intros in the AIP cut, but the original Italian is definitely a superior film.

Just saw this by accident a few weeks ago. Great spooky time!

So overlooked. Spooky, colorful, romantic and a little naughty.

Love this one.

It’s incredible. A friend’s dad gave me a copy when I was a teen and I kinda dismissed it. Decided to give it another try 10 years ago and it’s a staple. Also dig Adventure too, but this one’s just next level.

Incredible album. So thoughtful and painful but cathartic. I can rarely finish Decades without crying.
