Hollywood is a sausage factory. Once in a while there come writers and movie directors with an original idea and they have to fight tooth and nail to get their movie done. If the movie gets done and is successful, then there will be endless sequels etc.

Hollywood is just opportunistic. It’s scared of Trump so it will greenlight only non-woke stuff. It was never ahead of the parade anyway. They just liked to pretend they were.
