Today’s Forty Minute Run•Kinda had the feeling after yesterday’s heavy leg day today was going to be a tough run. Even with Pre Run AIS, fastest gear and shoes, the effort didn’t equate to pace. I know this guided run is all about effort but the metrics of this session were subpar 😕

Just Jog It•I completely agree with some mentors in the running community that some of the tougher training runs are the ones that force you to slow down and run in a controlled pace. Every now and again it’s great to return to this run as a reset to move forward and develop some new techniques.

Be True•Took an extra minute than the usual twenty, on my final run of June to learn about the perspective of respect from a direct source of information. A moderate run which related a direct story of TriAthlete Chris Mosier, who transitioned to the gender he competitively and currently competes as

One Hour Run•Considerable effort run to beat the heat and maintain a good pace. Nailed the out and back. Kept it a little closer with “widening out” the course to gain some running distance on the shortest possible course.

Stronger Faster•First Fast Friday speed work with the NB SuperComp’s with nice results. Excellent cimditions for a session such as this with the perfect combination of headwinds and tailwinds powering me along the Exchange Place JC Waterfront route.

Easy Run with Jes•A little challenging in the 9th hour with WTC RWI 3 conditions, although looked like the 13th hour was RWI 4 conditions for what ever reasons. Kept it easy, and close to the natural, artificial or combo canopies along the Newport/Exchange Place route this morning.

First Run•09:00 start was a little too late to have the first run of a heat advisory week. Hit my stride later in the run as I shook of some of the fatigue and soreness from last week’s runs. Stacked with Fitness+ MNDY Maintenance favorites.

One Hour Run•Utilized the cover of rain to beat the heat. Kept it a closer to home and tighter on the route for shelter in case of lightning. Consistent effort with varied pace due to traction and course design. Not a bad way to end the first week of NJ/NY Metropolitan Area Summer running.
June 22, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Wild Run with Bec•A little urban trail action with as many boardwalks, stairs, terminals, trails and uneven surfaces as possible. Also a wide variance in my pace while exploring out the route. Nice to get out a little earlier to beat the heat and continue the break in of the new NBs.

Today’s 30 Minute Run•Broke in the new NB Fuel Cell SuperComp Trainer V3’s with today’s run. Ran on as many different surfaces as possible with a moderate pace. All ready did the walk around with them. Hopefully they are ready for their first uptempo run later this week 🤞🏻

On my out, I witnessed a random cyclist approach dismount & pay his tribute at the scene where this past weekend a way too young cyclist lost their life in JC. I’ve operated, supervised, media released and commanded fatal crash investigation scenes. What I witnessed struck a different chord in me ❤️‍🩹

One Hour Run•Way out onto P13R and not even close to almost back in rainy conditions for Sunday Runday. Obviously, the rain affected the internal GPS and I definitely didn’t have Robert Kubica Le Mans 24 pace or Montreal traction 🤣
June 15, 2025 at 6:27 PM
Today’s 40 Minute Run•Maybe should’ve ran this a little earlier in the day to avoid the heat creep but nonetheless it’s a run recorded in the NRC App. Not a great pace but better than last week at a similar time in the day with a similar fatigue from a Thursday strength session.

Believe In The Run•Finally an algo based app recommendation for a positive personal fulfillment. Good to see a new guided run in the NRC app. As I’ve progressed as a runner developed a belief in the particular runs for personal development. Nice to have that affirmed.
June 9, 2025 at 7:26 PM
One Hour Run•Felt great to be out and about early for the weekly P13R and almost back. Kept it fresh by coloring a little outside the lines of the usual route. Good pace, no melting and a 24 second improvement per KM with a 57.63% increase in distance as compared to Fridays session.

Easy Run with Jes•A little @sailgp action in the NY/NJ harbour. Look like I wasn’t the only one on a waterfront training run today with goals of faster paced weekend runs along/on the water… #RunningThreads
June 4, 2025 at 8:49 PM
Go Long With Evan•Goal achieved with a new long run completed in the NRC App A 75 minute run to Weehawken and almost back. Kinda felt like an urban version of the steeple chase with a multitude of curbs, elevation changes, surfaces and water hazards. Great way to cross the start line of June.

Running For More:Purpose•Finally, an absolutely gorgeous day to enjoy a run and reflect on purpose. So much in fact I forgot to snap a pic during my home to gym route. Just a real good feeling running today at my usual time but with people out and about enjoying the holiday. Stacked w/ Fitness+ favs

One Hour Run•A little cruise down to P13R and almost back for the MDW Edition of #sundayrunday powered by the NRC App. Moderate effort and decent pace even with the gusty headwinds literally out of nowhere on the way back.
May 25, 2025 at 5:49 PM
Running Towards Your Goal•A little quicker pace, NB Rebels and a NRC Guided Run on Goal Setting for an uptempo run. Good route through some of the Downtown JC parks and when I reached the Waterfront witnessed these two jetting up the Hudson River for a different type of #fastfriday experience.
May 23, 2025 at 9:22 PM
30 Minute Run/24 Minute Open Run•For some reason the 30 minute run ended approximately 6 minutes into the run. Thinking it was caused by the rain gear wrist cuff contact with the ⌚️Open run for the additional 24 minutes Even my Yoga flows for Ankles and Shoulders were off a bit today. 🤷🏻
May 21, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Need This Run•Maintanence Monday perfection was definitely something my body needed. Stacked with Fitness+ Yoga for Runners Legs & Hips, Core and Mindful Cooldown made for a most productive session.
May 19, 2025 at 9:22 PM
One Hour Run•Moderate paced run that sweated out the excesses from yesterday’s Hudson River Derby celebration. Crossed the finish line of a productive week that involved travel related runs with an out and back to the Hoboken waterfront construction.
May 18, 2025 at 7:48 PM
Today’s 40 Minute Run•Running goal achieved, an out and back that incorporated Frederick Douglass Bridge into the route which included the open spaces, residential developments and sports venues adjacent to the Anacostia River. Stacked with Fitness+ Yoga 4 Runners Hips & Legs and AIS Zones 1 & 5.
May 16, 2025 at 1:45 PM
Thirty Minute Run•Nice to get in a run around Audi Field and Nationals Park after 3 hours on the train. Stacked with a walk from Union Station down to the Capitol Riverfront of whatever the former artist known as the Navy Yard is now called. Additionally stacked with Wednesday Fitness+ favorites
