I complain about politicians and politics a lot. Sometimes I talk about games. Or cats. Or IT work.

Representing Iglarnoth, the Everlasting Hunger.

Someone tell Stephen Miller to stop napping in there.

I'd hate to be whoever has to clean ketchup off of the walls.

And that means, in some part, that they rejected Trump.

Not fully. They're still Republicans. But they didn't feel the need to bow to "Dear Leader" on this.

It might be a sign of things to come.

Trump, of course, will not see it that way. Even if someone bothered to explain the reality of the situation to him.
December 11, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Sure as hell looks like it.
December 11, 2025 at 9:40 PM
And the people around him can only cover for him for so long before he's just practically incapable of public appearances.

I mean, he was an hour late to his own rally in Pennsylvania, because.... well, we don't know.

My guess is that they had to wait for some meds to kick in.

Now, Trump is also, quite clearly, declining mentally and physically.

That's also going to cause his approval to drop, because if nothing else, he doesn't appear to be up to the job.

He's falling asleep in the middle of the day, he's had extra cognitive tests, and the mystery MRI, and so on.
December 11, 2025 at 8:22 PM
.... or probably starting a war. And it would have to be something that the American people, en masse, could get behind.

This pissing match he's getting in with Venezuela? That ain't gonna be it.
December 11, 2025 at 8:20 PM
Now, because Trump is, for most intents and purposes, incapable of admitting that his policies are bad ones, I don't expect him to significant rise in approval over the rest of his term.

He could, sure.

But it would either require reversing, at this point, several of his policies, or....

Ah, yes. I remember a pale blue "The Incredible Sulk" on one of the servers.

ALL HAIL GLORP!
December 11, 2025 at 2:59 PM
Look, the idea that "work is good, not work is bad" is too ingrained in American culture at this point, but goddamn, this level of "The President is such a hard worker you guys." is getting stupider with each passing week.

I mean, how long before they claim he doesn't sleep at all?

*10 minutes later*

Exec: HOW THE FUCK ARE THEY MAKING DISNEY PORN?
December 11, 2025 at 2:47 PM
Trump is either willfully ignorant of or deliberately misinterpreting how tariffs work, he's deliberately inserting his own interests in various business activities, he's demanding that the U.S. should own pieces of various industries, and I have no doubt he wants to keep those pieces himself.
December 11, 2025 at 2:22 PM
I mean, it's clear to anyone with a functioning brain and no need to publicly kiss Trump's ass that he's hammering on the economy like a toddler on a xylophone, thinking he's cranking out a symphony when all it really is.... is noise.
December 11, 2025 at 2:20 PM
And this is the day after Trump said he wanted 25% growth. Which is a fucking pipe dream.
December 11, 2025 at 2:14 PM
"Woe is me. WOE! I SAID WOE! IS! ME! For I am inside where it is warm, and have food, and a box to shit in and HEY ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING?! WOE! WOE IS ME DAMNIT!"
December 11, 2025 at 6:22 AM
Well, yeah.

He desperately wants to be seen as the coolest, smartest, funniest, most popular person in the room, and he's none of those things, even when he's the only person in the room.

And that resounding "No" bruised his ego so badly that he wants to make the world pay for that rejection.
