Oops, fluffy Flicker didn’t make it in my last foster kitten post. A sweet young woman adopted her and named her Lady. So rewarding to see these happy endings.

Past foster kittens Flicker (gray female), Inkling (female with tiny white stripe) and Mooch (male, bigger white stripe). I’m sure they are loved by their furever families! I miss them.

Happy Caturday! My fosters Declan and sister Rory taking a post-lunch nap on this very hot & windy day in October (climate change is real, MAGA). Kittens are seven weeks, both eating meats now, which means I can sleep more! Yay!

Federal District Court judge John O’Connell just ordered Trump admin to immediately restore frozen funding. He ruled Trump admin had violated the plain text of his TRO. No finding of contempt (yet).

Finally, in one of the lawsuits seeking to enjoin freezing of federal funds, Plaintiffs’attorneys have brought a motion before the judge (who issued a temporary restraining order) asserting Trump admin has defied the TRO. They seek “enforcement” of the order. Curious to learn of outcome.

Attached is the lawsuit to immediately enjoin Elon and his minions from accessing the Treasury payment system. The Treasury Dept. and Bessent are also Defendants. As a retired attorney, I think this is an excellently drafted Complaint. You will see references to Bluesky and X. Thank you attorneys!

I got my most recent litter of four when they were three days old. They’ve been adopted in pairs! Yuri is now Loki and Timofey and is now Sumi😻They arrived at their furever home last night.

My beautiful cat Hera. I fostered her and she had four of the most adorable kittens two days after I picked her up. She knew exactly what to do and was such a doting mother. Total foster fail! All her kittens were adopted fairly quickly.

My litter of four that I got in May, they were about three weeks old. So cute; they were adopted in pairs which was great!
