These guides are SUPER helpful, and they helped me so much when I was just getting started. A LOT of these are out of print, since (as far as I know) the most recent volumes were originally printed in 2009. If you see ANY in the wild- GRAB IT! Seriously. These books are fantastic!

Final note: Also, I see nothing wrong with their "new designs" because that's how they've looked in the manga, and original 1990's art works. Rant over. I'm not looking to debate. I just needed to blow off some steam, because folks who were complaining about the reboot were getting on my nerves. 5/5

I'm just glad this series is getting a remake, and I just hope they follow the manga. Hopefully they follow the story closer to the original source material (Presea NEVER had a twin, Alcyone stays dead, and Nova didn't exist AT ALL). 4/5

They padded out the story with a "monster of the week" formula and pointless plot twists, for the sake of drama. Animation quality was rushed and sloppy (when compared with other titles that aired around the same time). Yes, it has its own charm, but I wouldn't set it as the "⭐ Standard" of MKR. 3/5

I know some otaku boomers saw the 1993 anime first, but let's not act like that show was good, okay? I watched it too, when I was 10-11, and I thought it was good. I read the manga at the same time too! But, as I got older and wiser, I started to realize that the 1st anime was kinda mediocre. 2/5

I feel that struggle. They should have cutscenes act the same as they did for Kulve Taroth and Safi Jiva. Everyone sees the cutscene, but can skip it if everyone hits the “skip” button!
