Last night a rip formed in the screen of our kitchen window. Co-Counsel Prospero and Opposing-Counsel Pyewacket escaped. While Prospero returned home almost immediately, I found Pyewacket this morning having been struck by a car and killed.

First night of her story and Victoria Riddle had a conversation with the Church of Caine devotee about faith being a prison, made friends with a puppy that is *definitely not a Gragrel Elder in disguise*, and was gifted a disembodied finger complete with a friendly bonus haint. #hecata #vampire #vtm

New character debuting tonight for an Appalachian Horror VtM. The amount of people deeply confused at the idea of a Hecata Granny Witch makes me think people get too stuck on the Mafia side and forget the necromancy violence inherent in the system. I'll be over here with my bones and baby snakes🐍.

Huh, it's been 2+ months since I posted.

Update time I guess:

1. Got fired
2. Job hunting sucked
3. Went through extensive training for new job
4. Clients folded contract 3 days before go live
5. Massive spinal pain for no reason
6. Apparently herniated or possibly ruptured 2-3 disks

The executives are not functioning today as I am post infusions and all of the dizziness has set it. Co-counsel Prospero and Opposing-Counsel Pyewacket however are both in functioning order and patrolling for spring birds.

In what could be a pivotal case as Trump seeks to reshape the federal workforce, the judge ruled that “an American President is not a king—not even an ‘elected’ one—and his power to remove federal officers and honest civil servants like the plaintiff is not absolute.”

As someone who spends a lot time thinking about the values I want to teach my kid (besides PLEASE DON’T EAT DIRT), the thing I keep coming back to is this: I want him to believe that the strongest, bravest thing he can do is give a shit about other people—especially ones who aren’t like him at all.

old Soviet joke for our times:

Guy stops by the newsstand every day, scans the front page, doesn’t buy the paper. One day the vendor asks what he’s up to.

Guy says: “looking for an obituary.”

Vendor says “those are towards the back of the paper, comrade.”

Guy says: “not the one I’m looking for.”

Shower cat has returned from his brief breakdown during which he became strictly a "hide in the closet and scream at the floor" cat. Now he's dissociating into the drain. Today I would like also scream at the closet floor and dissociate into the shower drain. #TooMuchNews #TheAmericanExerience

I didn't know my conversation was being recorded.

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on “DEI” with zero evidence.

He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.

It’s been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.

My son's endocrinologist called this morning. She's heartbroken and so am I. This executive order could kill my child and thousands of others. How does one just make the arbitrary decision that children do not know their own needs or that parents cannot care for them? Please explain it like I'm 10.
Over the last ten years I have watched far too many people I once called friends make comments about how they "support trans lives except they think puberty blockers are dangerous and we should only let children transition as adults". So I'm going to explain how that language will kill my cis child.

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Don't let anyone make you feel like this is The End. Do not let them demoralize you. Live to see them die.
