QATAR is pronounced ‘CutThar’ not ‘CutTerr’. The latter a pronunciation prevalent amongst US oil and gas expats. I find it insulting that you don’t bother to pronounce correctly the name of the country you live and work in.

$600B investment into the US - Saudi making a smart move pivoting from oil to tech & data center on federal land in the US. This did not happen under Biden for national security reasons - Saudi historically is an ally of no one and will buy and sell to the highest bidder - currently 1/2

The South Afrikaans refugee deal and Qatar jet plane gifts are ripe for Dems to pluck from the list of Trump’s actions - capitalise on these, mobilise dissent and run with it. If Dems can’t convert a few thousand Trumpers to move center left at least, we are done, Dems officially ineffective.

“Stories work, facts don’t.” - this is advertising 101. Perhaps Dems need a new strategy to win over MAGA base. Facts don’t work with this demographic, forget statistics, and hard data. Tell everyday relatable stories of Trump’s policies and how it destroys small businesses.. we do this but 1/2

Episcopal Church have cut partnership with US govt over moral grounds. They have been helping refugees resettle in the US but decided to object to this administration’s overly racist decision to provide fast track refugees status to white south Afrikaans while refusing the same for other groups 1/2

Why do women (especially) post on IG and THREADS flaunting how much younger they look cf to their bio age? It’s a weird flex - you win the genetics lottery; privileged to have the means to spend on medical grade skincare; lead a stress free life - one or all of these. Just be.
