Second attempt at making bagels was a success! (First attempt was last night, which was a complete bust - the recipe was poorly written and the bagels came out dense).
Second attempt used a different recipe that was more coherent. Nice crispy outside, soft inside - as bagels should be!

Finished a crossstitch meant as a gift for Ozzy's mom (her birthday isn't until September; but I wanted to make sure it was finished well in advance). Took just under three months to finish. Just needs a wash and iron.

Behold - baking decadence! (was in a baking mood tonight; so made some soft pretzels and cinnamon rolls).
Wish I had some cream cheese to make the frosting for the cinnamon rolls; but they're just as tasty without it. 😁
