This is Beans doing her best Superman pose earlier today.

After 2 days of rain, its lovely to walk the dogs around the beach and the sea is beautifully clear 😍

Oil rig snuck in this morning under the fog while we ate breakfast. They usually hang out here for a week or two doing maintenance before heading overseas.

I usually try to take a picture or two of each episode to share with my sister but thought I might share them here too.

Had a good day of packing and sorting shed stuff yesterday. A supportive audience always helps.

Can recommend Celery for Cutting from Kings Seeds. Mine are growing self seeded now in the garden. Looks more like flat leaf parsley than celery but perfect for picking a few small stalks for salads when ever needed or chucking in stocks etc.

Time to get the pitchfork out

We had a dusting of snow on a few of the hills round here today, right next to the sea! So have had the fire roaring and spent the afternoon watching x files and doing some sock darning. Definitely a function over form job on these 😆

Just had a dude from Stats NZ rock up to "verify we are real". We are a 3 hour drive from anywhere with about a third of that a gravel one lane country road. We talked about dogs then I helped him turn his car around and waved him goodbye. Wish he'd had a nice sunny day for one out of the office.

Past overdue to make my first post and rip that awkward bandaid off! Not quite sure what I'll be posting here yet but will likely include a large helping of photo's of my dog Beans and things that happen to me that I find funny and ridiculous.
