When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. Posts are limited character-wise. I can't remember right now what it looks like on a phone, but as I type here on my desktop, there's a countdown indicator at the bottom right telling me how many more characters I can put in one post.

Kal-El update: He's been out of isolation for a few days and has turned into Maya's shadow, which is hysterical because Maya has been MY shadow for 7 years. (I have to confess to a little bit of schadenfreude.) She's not happy about the situation, but she's tolerating it, kinda.

Oh hey I forgot to update here! We finally got a decent look at hindparts and this adorable little boy, who dropped in our laps unexpectedly and out of nowhere, is now Kal-El.

Kitten update. Gave it wet food and took a chance petting it while it ate. Now we’re *almost* buddies and I’m definitely pounceworthy. And as of today it purrs!

Literally baby. No name yet, sex unknown. We rescued it from our garage (where it'd gotten accidentally shut in, after a couple days of occasional crying in our yard) at weird o'clock yesterday morning.

So uhhh apparently we have a kitten now. It was intermittently crying outside for a day or two, and Mr. Atom and I were debating when/whether to try to catch it when it accidentally got trapped in our garage. Now it's in his study. ("it" = no vet trip yet to find out)
