That's covered in US history books. What isn't really covered is the Native American civil rights movement, or really anything. They make it look like we vanished around the turn of the 20th century. Any American knows who MLK is, for example, but don't know who Dennis Banks or Clyde Bellecourt are.

The US doesn't teach history. They teach propaganda. They don't want children to learn that their country was so much worse than the Nazis, or that the Nazis learned from America's treatment of Native people.

The so-called residential schools and boarding schools were actually prison camps. People who were imprisoned there aren't called graduates. They're called survivors. The language on this subject needs to change to fit reality.

He did earn it. The same week he freed Black slaves, he ordered the larges mass execution in Amerikkkan history where he had 38 Dakota men hanged for the "crime" of fighting back when their people were being starved to death in the concentration camps they were forced into.
