I like the aesthetics of these campaign posters: the SPD on the bottom: super mainstream, the chancellor's and Bürgermeister's party; die Linke in the middle: successful enough to be an equal junior partner with the Greens in Bremen's state government; the Marxist-Leninists on top: the real Left.

We finally got my 30-year old lava lamp, courtesy of the UCSB Bookstore, a new bulb and got the wax flowing again. This thing got me through grad school, I am looking forward to much lost productivity in the next few years.
