I disagree, even within the city limits of SF there are dialectic variants. Also Idioms differ between So Cal and Nor Cal. I have observed differing accents from Shasta and Lassen Counties from Contra Costa & others. Listen carefully and you will detect the differences. (In my humble opinion)
