They won’t book my bags through to London after my Santiago-Madrid flight because I didn’t book both flights on one reservation. Which I couldn’t do because this flight is a rebooking due to Iberia putting me on a LATAM flight that was cancelled due to the pilots strike. Never again with Iberia.

By contrast, in Scotland all children are given the vaccine at school in S1 (8th grade in the US), and it’s the child’s consent that is sought. I suppose parents could intervene if they had objections, but I have never heard of that happening.

As you know, I did and I am without regrets. My son has chosen the path—he’s at SUNY Albany, teaching film—and at least he was well aware what he was getting into. Times were so different when we were early career. We’re just disillusioned; he had few to begin with.

I’ve been thinking billboards outside as many towns and highways as allow. Change them weekly to highlight the latest way the GOP is screwing/endangering us all.
