We are talking rednecks with small/hunting arms, compared too.. formations of trained men with a wide options in how to make even a large army of citizens have the worst day of their life. Every dead protestor is one less person reinforcing future morality, personal strength and resistance.

If you cannot be kind then you can survive by learning how to be right, at the very least. You used the term Critical Thinking incorrectly, which is a dangerous thing in the current age. For all the unnecessary condescension at least put up a proper performance. You also did not disprove claims.

From experience as a sprite artist, many of the techniques cited are things I’d still arrive at even without CRT smoothing, because they solve readability and color constraints on their own.
Critical thinking still requires evidence. Framing disagreement as a lack of it isn’t helpful.

I am going to say something daring, but.. I do not buy that this was industry standard. This likely was not done with intent outside of maybe some specific examples. I do spritework and despite hearing it for so long, it just feels like retroactive-mythologizing.

had a sit down with one, and they were talking big how normal artists are losers and they are making bank with their GenAI textures. They worked so hard to justify their use of it and talking about how sacred it is, but they refused to label it anywhere on their products.
