Then your point is valid regarding range, put maybe the Type A variant has other extras like better electronics, better stealth etc.

Labour are copying the US Democrats while the Tories are copying the US Republicans. Voters wanted change, not more of the same policies.

Aircraft carriers. Bases such as Akrotiri in Cyprus, secondments to frontline NATO allies like Poland, Estonia, Finland, Sweden etc. Berlin to Moscow is 1,100 miles. Warsaw-Moscow 750 miles, Lithuania-Moscow 611 miles.

Bit like Cameron's claim about winning the right to eject jobless EU citizens after 3 months: the right had always existed, the UK government had just chosen not to apply it, perhaps because they had no National ID card scheme in case of complaints from the Daily Mail about becoming a Nanny State.

Thanks for the article. I refuse to give that odious little twerp any piece of my attention after his disastrous crashing of the UK due to Brexit. The more attention articles about him generate, the more airtime he will get.
May 29, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Which article? Bluesky doesn't point follow ups to original posts.

They give him airtime because people will write little texts about him on Blue Sky and other places, giving them both publicity.

He might have lousy policies and tells lies to make the money keep on rolling in, but he is the only one that looks the part. Starmer looks too scared, Badenoch too bonkers, Ed Davey too nice.

Interesting. So now it's anti-semitic to marry someone Jewish? Methinks the complainant do protesteth too much.
May 26, 2025 at 3:06 PM
It's not secret though, is it?

Careful, you'll only encourage him to arrange things so he can stand for a third term.

Meanwhile, US Postal Service is handling a claim for 12,000 lost eggs.

Sounds like the kind of policy where you sack the Mailman because he keeps bringing you bad bank account statements.

It should be your problem because the result was influenced by Russian interference and your country could be next. Look at the influence of the Right across Europe AfD, LePen, Orban, Fartage, Romania, Italy, Holland, and more. Naive apathy allowed the right to hijack Brexit. Resist naive apathy.
May 20, 2025 at 6:39 PM
That is the problem. Democrats don't see the big picture. She could have retired while the Dems had control of Congress and White House. There could have been one less GOP pick on SCOTUS. The GOP know how to get elected when big jobs are up for grabs and did so under GWB and Trump. Dems don't.

Not the same. Did you fall in love with an American woman and find you could not ever be together? You don't know how lucky you are, you are still enjoying the benefits of the EU. You also don't seem to understand politics allows people to change their minds. That's why we have elections.
May 20, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Brexiters don't see the human effects of Brexit. Nor do you it seems. For Brexiters, it was all about intangibles based on lies, the debate needs some humanity to be introduced.
May 20, 2025 at 5:21 PM
I know WHY they apply, but that doesn't mean they have no effect on my nephew. If you take a step back and look at my post again you will see the point was that Brexit changed the lives of many people for the worse. They cannot be together in either country now, and that is the tragedy you ignore.
May 20, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Of course it has to do with EU residency rules. Post Brexit he cannot live in her country, and she cannot live in his. "Thank Brexit for that" is sarcasm old chap.
May 20, 2025 at 4:59 PM
What will you resent, who will you not disrespect, and who was brilliant and a great role model for years?
May 20, 2025 at 4:54 PM
I did.
May 20, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Same for Rachel Reeves - see interview report in today's Guardian. No more ideological Brexit battles she claims before saying ideological red lines remain.
