This 4/3/1 weighting system is robust and directly addresses your focus on "formative" and "depth" contributions.
Based on this model, the University of Cambridge is the most productive institution, followed very closely by the École Normale Supérieure (ENS)

It's a useful reminder that sometimes tech can make a task more efficient for one side (applying for jobs), and more efficient for the other side (writing job adverts), and yet make the system as a whole completely inefficient.

Fans skew books, and I suppose that could create some negative expected value. But throwing a game is very "surprising" statistically and results in large losses for the house.
