I agree. But a lot of us got a head start on the 90s. All four original Pixies albums are 1988 - 1991. Jane’s Addiction’s Nothing Shocking was 1990. Lollapalooza I was summer of ‘91. All of this was out there, it didn’t break into the mainstream until ‘92.

No way the Fed could’ve foreseen the gross mismanagement of interest rate risk by SVB. In fact, the Fed issued MRA/MRIA warnings to SVB in late ‘21 and throughout ‘22 that SVB largely ignored. The Fed needed to extinguish any potential systemic risk in ‘23, acted appropriately to ring fence SVB.
