One of the most shocking examples was when Campbell Scott played Scrooge onstage a few years back, given that his father was the definitive Scrooge of my childhood.

If this was a TV show the recappers would probably say this is one of those "moving the pieces into place" episodes, which is true, but I work hard on making those entertaining.
