May I make two suggestions for your horror movie viewing this week? 'Cause I've written two horror movies, they're both under 80 minutes, they're both awesome, and they're both rentable on Prime for under five bucks!

One of the most shocking examples was when Campbell Scott played Scrooge onstage a few years back, given that his father was the definitive Scrooge of my childhood.

My all-time-favorite in this regard was the home-video release of the Affleck DAREDEVIL movie, with this truly hilarious, so-much-to-unpack tagline:

GIVE ME AWAY Season 3 Episode 8, "You Have Ten Months" (written by me), is live now wherever you get your podcasts. Our hybrid heroes face their deadliest challenge yet: working a regular job. I'm being glib, but that is part of it. The point is it rips, and you should listen to it.

I'm enormously proud of these reviews of my scripted fiction podcast GIVE ME AWAY. These are specifically reviews of Season 3, Episode 6, which we released last week.

What’s more tense than meeting your kid’s partner for the first time?

When your kid has TWO partners.

What’s tenser than that?

When both partners share the same body.

GIVE ME AWAY Season 3 Episode 7, "Basic Mom Stuff," is live now wherever you get your podcasts.

Look, I’m not gonna market my show off of relevance to grim current events, but I’m damn sure gonna point out they coincide this closely. I’m a writer, I’m trying to write about the world, and sometimes that brings my scripts and world events quite close together, as they did in a big way yesterday.

The Star Trek Khan fiction podcast drops today, with your boy scoring an "Additional Writing By" credit! I'll have to listen to see if any of my stuff made the recording draft (likely not, but you never know), but I sure had a blast writing the big guy for a few months.

My sci-fi thriller fiction podcast GIVE ME AWAY is back with Episode 4 of Season 3, "Good Men In Place."

If this was a TV show the recappers would probably say this is one of those "moving the pieces into place" episodes, which is true, but I work hard on making those entertaining.
